Allo My Star

Designing the Allo My Star web and app poses several challenges, particularly in understanding the needs and expectations of various stakeholders. Firstly, conducting interviews with artists and their managers is crucial to grasp their perspective on communication with fans, their availability for interactions, and their preferences regarding message delivery. This helps in tailoring the platform to meet their expectations and ensure a seamless experience for both artists and users.

Similarly, engaging with users is essential to identify pain points and preferences. Understanding how they envision interacting with their favorite stars, their expectations regarding message delivery, and the role management they desire in organizing events or meetings with celebrities are key aspects to consider during the design process.

Furthermore, managing roles effectively within the platform is crucial to ensure smooth communication and coordination between artists, users, and managers. This involves defining clear roles and permissions for each stakeholder group, ensuring proper access controls, and implementing features that facilitate efficient role management.

As the Lead Product UX Designer for Allo My Star, my role is pivotal in shaping the user experience and interface design of our platform. i was responsible for leading the UX design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, developers, and marketers to define product requirements and objectives. conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and iteratively testing designs to ensure usability and effectiveness.  play a key role in synthesizing feedback from stakeholders and users to inform design decisions, while also advocating for user-centric design principles throughout the development lifecycle.

To address the requirements for the home page and artist profiles on Allo My Star, we propose the following solutions: prominently feature a trending artist on the home page based on metrics like popularity and engagement; incorporate a section for users to view and share recent shoutouts or messages from artists, with options for direct social media sharing; each artist will have a dedicated profile enabling users to request shoutouts or book them for events, alongside a follow button for users to subscribe to updates; include a news feed within each artist’s profile for latest updates and event announcements; develop a robust CMS with analytics for artist management, facilitating income tracking, event management, and shoutout requests analysis. These solutions aim to create an engaging platform that fosters interactions between artists and fans while providing effective management tools for artists to optimize their online presence and revenue streams.
